The tent through the years
Royal family of lifesaving
Line dancing at the Barracks opened it; Mari & Paul's spa closed it. In between: a stingray and a shark alarm on 2 November, a 42-degree morning when even the seagull stopped flying, Christmas Day sand sculptures, Coolangatta Gold medals, three National Medals and a new SSV after the last one went for a swim.

Saturday 20 December 2025, 8am. After the tragedy at Bondi, clubs across Australia lined up at the water's edge in patrol uniform and stood shoulder to shoulder for three minutes' silence. P14 was there.

The season of the SSV operators, the naughty list, the chicken sandwiches and the Department of Patrol Efficiency. International Women's Day brought the inflatable sharks; Laura blew her last whistle and left for LA; Alex and Claude went nine for nine.

Patrol of the Year
The one with the trophies: Patrol of the Year, Patrol Captain of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Nine hundred patrol hours, zero lives lost, a Cole Classic with a massive P14 contingent and an Easter Monday of searches with the water police and the chopper.
